- Put your phone on speaker
When you are at home and doing those catch ups with your family or in the middle of taking business calls you can be exposing your skin to the dirt that gets carried on your phone. Our phones lay all over the house and the germs collected on it can transfer to your skin during a phone call and clog your pores with dirt and junk without you even realizing it. Over time you start getting blackheads on the side of your face and wonder where they came from. You can use your speaker and avoid those germs which might make it a little tougher to get clear skin
- Don't Forget to wash your makeup off before you go to bed!
Makeup? during quarantine? Yes, we see you doing those tik toks. ;) Just kidding but if you are like me and put on makeup (Sometimes) then don't forget to take it off before you go to bed and wash your face directly afterwards to make sure all of the excess is gone.
- Exfoliate/ Use a Mask more than once a week
Yes, More than once a week! If you're anything like me when you are busy this is one of the last things you think about and slack down to once a month! But now you are at home and you can wear that mask to work;). This also depends on your skin type. If you tend to struggle with a lot of dry skin (especially during the winter months) use a enzymatic exfoliator at least twice a week and top it off with a hydrating mask! Your skin will feel much smoother and soft and it will help you feel more motivated to take care of your skin everyday!
- Wear Sunscreen
Don't forget to put on your SPF even while you are inside. Make sure you purchase a good SPF as this will protect your skin from UV light from the sun, your phone and your laptop. This should be your most important priority when looking after your skin.
- Use a Serum or Eye Cream
If you are serious about your skin and want to go further than the daily cleanse, cream and sun block then purchase a serum or eye cream for the specific concern or effect you want. This will definitely be worth it and you might consider taking the extra time to really look after your skin once you go back to work or school.
Those are the tips I can give you to motivate you to take better care of your skin. If you have any other tips or concerns comment down below! I hope I can help.
