Benefits of Coffee

For all the coffee lovers here are a few benefits of coffee. These are some of the benefits that I have experienced and researched as well.
Disclaimer: Coffee is healthy in moderation and it can have negative effects too if you over drink it. This is true with anything and a healthy balance and lifestyle is the goal. With that being said, stick to 3-5 cups of coffee a day and try and space it out. Another tip is to use filter coffee. I know this is expensive but if you stick to 3 cups a day instead of 8 it will take you a long way and you will experience the benefits.

  • It helps you to have bowel movement
Having your cup of coffee first thing in the morning ( filter ) helps you to go to the bathroom and remove wastes so you can start your day well and feeling lighter. This helps if you experience constipation often and need something to help you 'go'.

  • It gives you energy
This one is obvious for coffee and we all probably already know this, But make sure you drink it after a good nights sleep, that way you won't experience the 'crash'. This should be an 'addition' to the basics of good rest, sufficient water intake and healthy eating because that way you will experience the benefits instead of the negatives of coffee

  • It is full of antioxidants
According to healthline coffee has more antioxidants than most of the fruits and vegetables we eat.
Antioxidants are good at fighting against free radicals. Free radicals are responsible for disease and illness like cancer and diabetes etc.

  • It makes you emotionally happy and keeps you satisfied
Especially if you are a coffee lover. Don't just drink it for the benefits if you hate it. How you feel and think about it also has an effect on your body and mood. Our thoughts are the most powerful thing and if you are thinking about how much you hate coffee while you are drinking it, you shouldn't be drinking it. This feeling of emotional satisfaction adds to the benefits because you need to feel emotionally 'full' as well as physically. We are human beings with a mind, body and soul and our emotions and feelings fit into that. So make sure you are enjoying your coffee while you drink it. If you do not like coffee find something else you like( maybe tea) and enjoy that. No one food or drink completes your whole diet and we should eat a wide range of foods to get in all our needed vitamins and minerals

That's it for the benefits of coffee. Let me know if experience any of them without even noticing and also if you experience any other benefits in the comments.

Enzymatic vs. Granular Exfoliation

What is the difference? Don't they both do the same job? Is Enzymatic even effective?  Enzymatic exfoliators and Granular exfoliators are both know for the same job: to get rid of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. But, what is the difference and which one is most suitable for my skin? Enzymatic exfoliators are exfoliators without the abrasive kernels in it that brush down on the dead cells on your skin. Except these exfoliators contain enzymes which break down bonds between the dead cells on the surface of the skin which removes dead skins cells faster. Enzymes include bromelain from the pineapple and papain from a papaya. You can use this exfoliator if your skin is more sensitive and you want something less harsh compared to a peel or even a granular exfoliator. One can also use this exfoliator if you experience breakout which is perfect and won't aggravate the skin. Now what is a granular exfoliator? Granular exfoliators are mechanical exfoliators that buff the skin
